San Joseph is one of the sitios of Barangay San Jose. It is approximately 24 kilometres away from the city proper. It is situated along the South of Kaysakat particularly at a mountainous area with a loomy soil intended for agricultural purposes. Its vicinity is rural with a temperature much cooler than most of the sitios of Barangay San Jose. It is accessible by any type of vehicle but most of the residents ride in jeepneys and tricycles to do their marketing at the city proper. Buying of goods and commodities for their sari-sari stores and for their own consumptions are done mostly once every week in order not to expense much for the transportation.

         It is entirely an agricultural community wherein aside from farming, poultry and livestock raising are the means of livelihood of some of the people living in the area. Some of the residents are part time laborers and has no permanent occupation. Making Charcoal is also another source of income in some area in order for some people to afford their basic needs and survive in their everyday living. But it is still concerned about the environment and they do their share to help the reforestation of the sitio. They also participate whenever there are tree planting activities in the community.
